National Domestic Workers Alliance
Over eighty domestic worker leaders lined up in the middle of a field and collectively extended out toward their shared vision and commitment over the next year, next five years, ten years, two decades. With each advance in years, the line moved forward together side-by-side, feeling themselves, each other, the Care Across Generations campaign, and their larger commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of all domestic workers around the world. This was our first four-day training for NDWA’s SOL (Strategy. Organizing. Leadership) Training Initiative, a two-year collaboration between NDWA, Social Justice Leadership and us. It was an inspiring four days of somatics, transformative organizing and social justice with nearly a hundred domestic worker leaders, organizing staff, and organizational leadership together. We are honored to be a part of this important initiative and excited for what’s to come in the next two years!
